It was unusual for a 24-year-old who had only been in charge of guns on one prior feature film to get a head armorer position - let alone additional prop responsibility. She had cause to celebrate her good fortune. 29, two days after being offered a dual position as the film’s armorer and key prop assistant. “How f- up is it that life’s been so good lately I can’t help but feel like I’m about to fall from grace?” she posted on Facebook on Sept.
WWW MODELMAYHEM PROFESSIONAL
I, personally, would want and do want a professional website and domain name that grabs people's attention and looks really nice because I think it shows people you are real and serious about what you do.but for now all I can afford is free. When Hannah Gutierrez Reed landed a job working on the Alec Baldwin western “Rust,” she couldn’t believe her luck. Maybe if the audience you are trying to impress is someone who's ass whistles when they walk, then yes it's probably better to invest in a well-developed, flashy, intriguing web site. True but the reality is now everyone is on myspace and a lot of people will settle for that. yes, it's the Internet comes with all sorts of information. and just as many are mislead by the leads (veracity of, truly in the "industry" or not) they think they're getting in. Kind of like the announcements on the front page here.įar too many people here are miscalculating the true cost of putting together a decent - (maybe not all the latest bells & whistles, but decent) - site of their own, with their own domain name & everything, today simply not informed of the many options available to them.

WWW MODELMAYHEM PLUS
Plus you can always post bulletins that will show up on everyone's page and reach out to everyone on your friend's list. Myspace has a blog section on the top of your page where you can create titles for specific photos or whatever you want to put in them. MySpace is much more than pedophiles and perverts!
WWW MODELMAYHEM UPDATE
I do have my website of course, which is VERY important, but I couldn't revamp, or even update it in over two years now. Until then, I may put up some slide shows, we'll see. I don't have images up, except the ones in my blogs, but will eventually revamp them, as soon as they have the album feature ready. and why?īecause I read David LaChapelle's website on MySpace and his opinion on the marketing and networking power of MySpace. That's why I started to be more active on MySpace again as well. I am constantly surprised when a model questions as to the distance between us!! Models from all over are in contact with photographers and other industry people from any place in the world. Modeling/Photography was/is the first global industry. More than MM, OMP, Webtalent, & my webpage do combined in a year! So, you see, its really not so simple, is it?įact: MySpace reaches 165+ MILLION people a day!! Every day! And with how busy I am, I can't really wait until I have the time to finish it to keep looking for more work. maybe that is a route? I personally have a website but its still under construction. Photobucket allows you to have catagories.

And I don't necessarily want the jewelry people to have to dig though the people thing (especially if its nudes) and I don't need models looking at the jewelry and going "WTF does this have to do with me?" you can see how quickly the need for many different examples of many different things comes into need. Some places are looking for just quick colour correction and resizing so I need to show them that. Some places are looking for people to be retouched so I need to show them that. Some places are looking for the backgrounds to be removed from various products for catalogue so I need to show them that. But I'm always looking for side work (who isn't?). Well, for example, my full-time gig is at a studio. There are 158 threads in the forums dealing with MySpace topics.ĭepends perhaps on your target audience i.e., to whom are you marketing?
